Can I cancel my move and will I then be refunded?

Yes, you can. You will however be liable for a 10% cancellation fee.

Are there any extra fees I should know about?

There are certain exclusions on both the domestic and international moves clearly specified on our quotation and in our T&Cs.

Do I need to be present during the move?

It is ideal to be present, but if that is impossible, you can appoint a representative to be present.

Is there anything movers won’t move?

We are not allowed to move hazardous goods i.e. gas cylinders (full), paint, flammables, livestock, etc. Please refer to our T&C’s.

How do you calculate the cost of a move?

How long before my move should I contact MuvGuru?

Contact MuvGuru as early as possible to ensure you secure your preferred date of removal.

What happens if I make a bad estimate on my volume / error in my inventory?

Do the movers offer packing services?

The movers offer various packing services from basic to specialised crating.

Do you provide moving insurance in case something breaks?

All-risk transit insurance and total loss insurance is available at a percentage-based premium based on replacement value.

What happens if my moving date has to change?

Contact MuvGuru immediately and we will endeavor to accommodate your new move date as best possible.

Will the movers disassemble and reassemble my furniture for me?

The movers can assist with basic disassembly/reassembly i.e. beds, cupboards, etc. Please read our T&Cs for exclusions.
